Summer College in
Biotechnology and Life Sciences (SCIBLS) at NC State is an opportunity
for outstanding high school students to participate in a college level
laboratory research program.
SCIBLS participants take coursework for
college credit, challenging them beyond the level of typical high
school academics. Participants will work in state of the art
laboratories on the campus of NC State and practice cutting edge
research techniques and skills.
The selective four-week program is
recruiting high school students who are eager to experience a true
university environment and explore biotechnology laboratory techniques
and careers. Admission is on a First Come First Served Basis. Housing
is available on NC State campus for an additional charge.

Qualifying students:
Participants must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA (weighted).
Deadline:
Applications are accepted until classes are filled.
Scholarships: Merit
and Need-based scholarships are available. Scholarship
